We were excited to have hosted our Well Women Wednesday’s health fair at Alternatives for Girls (AFG). AFG is a shelter helping girls and young women experiencing homelessness and other risks avoid violence, early pregnancy, and exploitation. The event took place on Tuesday, March 21st, 2023! Women from different age groups were educated on various health topics and screenings. The event started with an educational talk by Dr. Hassan and Dr. Wright. Then the participants passed by the different partners’ tables to receive important educational information and useful resources. We ended the event with a raffle drawing. We would like to thank all our partners and participants who participated in this event!
