Kameel has recently joined the Office of Women’s Health as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow, bringing a wealth of experience serving marginalized communities in his home country, Lebanon. His passion lies in enhancing the health and well-being of women, inspired by his work with underprivileged female migrant workers. Actively involved in coordinating various research projects, Kameel will focus on the SOS MATERNITY Network (The Synergy of Scholars in Maternal and Infant Health Equity), striving to improve maternal and infant health outcomes statewide. Additionally, he contributes to initiatives like the Make Your Date Program, focusing on reducing preterm birth rates, particularly among vulnerable communities. With a vision for a career in family medicine, emphasizing obstetrics and gynecology as a subspecialty, Kameel seeks to continue advocating for disadvantaged communities and driving positive change in healthcare.
